Ok, boys and girls. It's time to play a little game I like to call: re-do this blog. Oh, wait, that's my job. Or is it? Since I'm learning how to do web site design, and this blog could use a little livening up, I'm asking you guys to help me help you. Obviously, this is a blog centered on one thing: God and his Youth Group. So, think of some ways we can change this blog to better further His Kingdom, but that also shows a little of what we like best about Youth Group: Christians having fun! Any and every idea is welcome, and just remember: it's your blog. I'm just the guy running it.

Jon, here. Since my last entry didn't leave much room for feedback, I figured I'd ask all of you how your week is going. This is the youth groups blog, and though we don't approve of inappropriate language, or topics, I've decided to open the floor to anything, you, the Youth Group, want to talk about. If it's a problem you're having, a question you have about God or the Bible, or whatever. It's your blog, so, use it.

Hey Everyone! Hope you make your plans to come to Winding Brooks Farm, Saturday October 18th.
We will be roasting hotdogs and smore's over the fire.
Cost is $10. Invite your friends. Check out the pictures from last year.

Greetings, one and all to the blog for Bethel Chapel Youth Group. This is your Friendly Neighborhood Director of Communications speaking, (my friends call me Jon,) and I'll be posting every now and again about goings on in youth group, as well as some encouraging verses to get you through your week. For now, I'd like to describe the title. A while ago, Derick preached on a man who Jesus freed from demon possession and how the man went to nearby towns and preached of what Jesus had done. AND ALL MEN DID MARVEL. That's what I'd like to call my entries from now on, to remind us all how we need to marvel at God's grace, power, and especially His love for us.

Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans for peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope."
I like this verse cause it reminds us that God wants whats best for us (He wants us to have a future filled with hope) and He longs to be at peace with us. Just think how awesome this is: THE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE WANTS TO BE IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH SINFUL PEOPLE LIKE US
What are some reasons that the life of the Christian is filled with hope?
