Remember deadline is August 31, 2006. Today is August 30. You probably won't see Derick or Sarah tomorrow so you might want to get your registration into us today at church. Hope you all come prepared.

This week I've been thinking about what's going on with my family and stuff. And once again, I realized how great our God is. He NEVER leaves us alone to deal with trials. He doesn's say, "here is a trial now try to fix it yourself." He 1) gives us Scripture and 2) gives us godly people to help us through it. God does everything for a reason. I didn't know how important someone moving to Juniata was because I didn't know how much of an impact and encouragement they'd be to me. But God knew. He knew that this time in my life would come and He uses people to help me through this. I'm really thankful for that. I'm also really thankful for anyone who has prayed for my family or even offered us anything, a ride, a get together whatever. Thank you for whoever even said "I'm praying for you and your family." I'm glad God put you all in my life.

I would like to share with anyone reading this what I learned in my devotions. Today I read 1 Peter 4 and at the end of this chapter Peter talks about sharing Christ sufferings. He tells us not to feel strange or suprised when we go through trials for that is part of sharing Christ's sufferings. He also says that when we are insulted for being a Christian, it is a blessing for it proves we are sharing Christ's sufferings and it proves that the Spirit of God is resting on us. In 1 Peter 4:16 Peter says "If you suffer for being a Christian, don't feel ashamed, but praise God for being called that name." I think this is something we all need to remember for it will help us when we are insulted or persecuted by unbelievers. This is definitely a passage I'll try to remember if anyone at Frankord or outside insults me for being a Christian. I encourage everyone to read and try to memorize this passage before you go back to school. For I'm sure it will help you like it helped me. See you tomorrow. Josh.

Hey Everyone,
Remember the letter you got about the wilds earlier this month. Well, in case you forgot, please remember to bring in your deposit along with your registration form this Friday. At the latest Sunday. Everyone who brings theirs in is guaranteed a spot next summer. The later you hand in your registration form the less likely they will have room for you. Make sure to get it in. Also, make sure your parents understand that the $25.00 deposit is non-refundable. If you don't wind up going to the Wilds you will not get your money back. Also, make sure that you plan accordingly. I know this is so far away but if we want to go we need to do it now. Thank you. If you or your parents have any questions please have them contact Derick. Also, if you lost the registration form or the letter and would like another one please contact Derick immediately. Thank you.

This weeks activity is not on Friday but Saturday. We will be meeting at church at 9:30am to leave for the KNH. We will be helping the KNH with their Friends and Family Workday. Hope you are all there.

Since, you all are wondering (and since you asked so kindly) when we are leaving.
EVERYONE BE THERE AT 2:00PM.
Meet in front of church. We are staying only for 1 night so only bring one bag. You do not need to bring towels or pillows. Remember, no ipods, CD players or walkmans. You may bring a cell phone to check in with parents or emergencies only. They are not for playing music. No ringtone parties. Only for emergencies. If there was anyone who was not at the Wed. Prayer meeting please make sure they understand this.
